A chance to be real

Hey Everyone,
First I would like to apologize for not sending this out sooner, I've been down for a few days. Hope you all have had a great week so far.

Sunday Pastor Andy's sermon was titled" A chance to be real". He discussed several different chapters in the book of Psalms. How God wants us to be real with him. In Psalms, David wrote of his anger, his blessings, his fears, his love for God, he asked for forgiveness and begged God to never turn his face from him. David was real , and because of that, God loved him so much. David was a man after Gods own heart and he feared the Lord.

What are your Psalms? I want you to make a point this week to write them down, whether it be anger, frustrations, anxieties, fears, blessings or your love for God. If you want to send them to me that would be awesome.

I often wonder how many of you God reaches, If I'm doing a good job. Yes God tells me that, but sometimes we need to hear it from others. My psalm today is this: Lord, I want to thank you for all the good and most importantly the bad because of the bad, I am so in love with you Lord. I know that had I not encountered those troubles I may not be where I am today, so thank you Lord.
Psalm 71:19-21
19 Your righteousness reaches heaven, God, You who have done great things; God, who is like You? 20 You caused me to experience many troubles and misfortunes, but You will revive me again. You will bring me up again, even from the depths of the earth. 21 You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.

Lord, I pray that you would increase my faith. Lord may we all kneel before you and be as real as we can be, may you comfort us, give us peace, understanding. Lord I pray that you would open the eyes of my heart, I want to breathe you in and just as David said Lord, may you never turn your face from me, and may we all find peace in knowing that your love is the only love that endures forever. Lord I pray for blessings upon every person reading this, I pray that will will walk in boldness proclaiming your word, standing firm in our faith and not be ashamed of who we are because you loved us so much that you gave your only son so that we should live, you forgave us so long ago. May we forgive ourselves as well. I pray that you would show every eye, your will for their lives, the gifts that you have given us and may we use them to the best of our ability. Its in Jesus name I pray...AMEN!!

Snowed in

Good Morning Everyone,First I just want to say that I hope you all had a very wonderful weekend. I dont know about you guys but I soooo missed not having church yesterday. I felt like something was just missing, although I did enjoy the snow with my little girl, Sundays are my favorite day of the week.

Well since we didnt have a service yesterday, I wanted to share my daily devotional with you all. Do you ever feel like you wonder if you make a difference?
Does what you do with and in your life really matter?
Does anyone really pay attention anyways?

Well God says YES!! Yes it does, all of it. Todays title is "Live a Holy Life"You should be a light for other people. Live so tht they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16You want to make a difference in your world? Live a holy life:Be faithful to your spouse.Be the one at the office who refuses to cheat.Be the neighbor who acts neighborly.Be the employee who does the work and doesn't complain.Pay your bills.Do your part and enjoy life.Don't speak one message and live another.People are watching the way we act more than they are listening to what we say.
A Gentle Thunder BY Max Lucado

Lord, I come before you asking for forgiveness for ever not being light to someone else, for saying one thing and living another. Lord you have blessed me beyond my imagination and you still continue to use me when I am so undeserving and worthy. I want to live a life that pleases you, I want to get to Heaven and see your face and know that you are proud and pleased with me. Lord help us to live for only you, not the way the world says we should. May I always be light to others, someone they can talk to, trust and no that you God live inside me. Thank you for loving me, for you son that died so that we can live and thank you Lord for forgiveness. May every eye reading this be blessed, May they hear your voice and feel your presence in their lives. In Jesus name I ask these things... Amen!! Cant wait to see you all Wednesday. God bless and have a wonderful week.

Be Contagious!!!!

Good Evening everyone,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PASTOR ANDY!!
I hope you all had a wonderful day. Thanks so much to Byron for making bowling night a fun filled event, and to all the others who helped out. Everyone had a blast.

Yesterday Pastor Andy finished the series of Heroes. The message was titled “Be contagious”. How I pray that God within me is contagious to everyone I meet. We put so much value, strength and energy in this world which means nothing. Christ is eternity which is forever…never ending. Life with God is only the beginning, there is no end.

I don’t know your battles but the devil is waiting to tempt you with it, always be on guard, stand firm in your faith. As for me, I want God to be the center and have all control of my life; it’s just so hard to give him everything isn’t it. I’m challenging myself to give him my all, all my worries, all my stresses and anxieties. Will you do the same?

God knew you before you were born, God wants to know YOU more today and most importantly he wants you to know him.

Col 1:15-17
15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God, He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation. 16 For through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see-such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers. And authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation.

How comforting is it to know that we can hold on to things as long as we feel the need, but he holds it all in his hands anyways. So… What is keeping you from being the Hero God has called you to be? What are you carrying around that you can not let go of?

Lord, I pray that you would just take all these things that are out of our control out of the way. I pray that you would just show me your will, your way, what’s keeping us all from you Lord. Lord you are the most powerful Hero, I know that you will never let us down. Praise you for your perfect timing, for being my all in all, my father, my best friend and the one who is always there when I need him. Your love is constant, I need that and I thank you for loving us all when we are so undeserving of your love, your grace and mercy. And Thank you Father for always blowing my mind, you show me miracles every single day, I pray that others will see them too. In Jesus most precious name…AMEN!!

Hope you all have a very blessed week!!

Kryptonite

Good Afternoon All…First I want to say that I truly hate that any of you missed Pastor Andy’s message yesterday, it was truly God Sent, hit straight to my heart. And for those that missed the "Boot Scootin Boogie"

Bowling Night will be February 22nd at 4:00pm in Savannah. This will NOT cost you a thing, but we do need for you to sign up so that we will know how many lanes to rent out. Thank you to all who have gotten this family night together. We are so blessed!!

Yesterday Pastor Andy continued the message on "Heroes". The sermon title was “Kryptonite”. Like Superman, we all have some form of kryptonite in our lives. Sin comes in many forms, and unless you are Jesus, you are going to sin. The closer we get to sin, the further away we move from God. Did you know that even Jesus was tempted by Satan? In Matthew 4:11 it says, “Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus”.

Satan can make you believe that he has what you need, we get blinded by it don’t we? But the most amazing thing is that God is always waiting for us to come back to him. As Pastor Andy said, “When we, Gods children truly call on the name of Jesus, he listens”. Do you know what your Kryptonite is? If so, do you want to let it go and be the Hero that God has called you to be?

Father God, I ask that you would remove us from all the kryptonites in our lives, were we have allowed sin to weaken us and take us away from you. I ask for your forgiveness for allowing that to happen Lord. I pray that you would draw us closer to you Lord, that you would show us the path you want us to take in our lives. Help us to keep our eyes only on you Lord; knowing that when we do that, there is no way that we can fail. Lord I pray that you would also reveal to us the things in our lives that we put before you and ask that you remove us from all those things and situations. I trust you Lord with my life, I’m giving it to you, and I pray that every eye reading this would do that as well. I love you so much and thank you in advance for what you are going to do in my life and all those I come in contact with Lord. It’s in Jesus holy name I pray this, Amen!!!

May you all have a very blessed day and week!!

The Voice of Adventure

My morning devotional by Max Lucado was just too good not to share with everyone.
God bless you all
Love....
Me

The Voice of Adventure

Those who try to keep their lives will lose them. But those who give up their lives will save them.
Luke 17:33

There is a rawness and a wonder to life. Pursue it. Hunt for it. Sell out to get it. Don't listen to the whines of those who have setTled for secondrate life and want you to do the same so they won't feel guilty. Your goal is not to live long; it's to live.

Jesus says the options are clear. On one side there is the voice of safety. You can build a fire in the hearth, stay inside, and stay warm and dry and safe.

Or you can hear the voice of adventure-God's adventure. Instead of building a fire in your hearth, build a fire in your heart. Follow God's impulses. Adopt the child. Move overseas. Teach the class. Change careers. Run for office. Make a difference. Sure it isn't safe, but what is?

He Still Moves Stones!!
Is God good or what??? YES YES YES...ALL THE TIME!

Grace Anatomy

Good Afternoon everyone,

Yesterday Pastor Andy continued the series of Heroes. The message was titled “Grace Anatomy” in definition the word Grace means: (1) beauty of form or movement: (2) God’s unmerited favor…Pastor Andy talked about a young man named David who was but a shepherd boy but to his family he was a hero, why you may ask?? He was able to kill Goliath and stand firm in his faith, unarmed or armored but with just a sling shot and 5 stones. Could you go before a nine ft giant unarmed??? I certainly could not. In
1Cor 16:13-14 the bible says “Be on guard. Stand firm in faith. Be courageous. Be Strong. And do everything with Love”.

Heroes come in many shapes and sizes, male and female but a true Hero can come before God completely broken and in everything they do, they do it in Love. And Be on Guard and Stand firm in your Faith, Be strong in your faith. Just as Pastor Andy said “ Be on Guard, always knowing that the enemy is ready to attack you in whatever you may battle, that is where he will attack first”, there are many weaknesses… it could be pornography, addiction and addiction comes in many forms from sex, alcohol, drugs, and even food. BE STRONG IN THE FAITH and above all else…DO EVERYTHING, I MEAN EVERYTHING IN LOVE!!

This is Gods definition of love, which is also my absolute favorite bible verse!!
1Cor 13:4-7
4 Love is patient; love is kind. Love does not envy; is not boastful; is not conceited; 5 does not act improperly; is not selfish; is not provoked; does not keep a record of wrongs; 6 finds no joy in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Lord I pray healing and many blessings upon every eye that may be reading this message. Lord I pray that you would show us the kind of hero that you want us to be, I pray that whatever we all are battling, maybe even things we are unaware of but just feel that something is not right within us, that you would show us your way , your will, your favor and your love, show us how to love others as you love us, help us to do every in love. Lord I love you, I pray that every heart would be open to let you live in them, that your will not ours be done. In Jesus name I pray…AMEN!!

Heros

I hope this finds you all well and having a wonderful day so far. Pastor Andy started our new series titled “Heroes”, he discussed Mark 2:1-5. Can imagine having faith so strong that, just knowing if you were in the presence of Jesus that you would be healed. Those four men knew if they could just get their friend (the paralytic man) to Jesus, that he would be healed, because of the crowd, they went so far as to get on the roof to cut a hole in it and lowered their friend on a mat to the feet of Jesus, because of their faith. Jesus said” My child, your sins are forgiven.”

As Pastor Andy said, does the bible mention the names of those four men? No…there are so many nameless heroes. While I was praying God brought to my attention…”Tabitha how often you are in the presence of other people, even more important your daughter.” I’m not sure about all of you but I want to be my daughter’s hero, I want her to look at me and my life and be proud. I want to set a good example for her, for my family and my friends, also all those I come in contact with. Just for today, pay attention to all those you come in contact with, whether it be your children, employees, family or friends. How do you think they see you…As a hero, positive, encouraging, full of faith? Or discouraging, negative and pessimistic? I choose to be a hero today and God willing for as long as I am blessed to be here on this earth.

Do you want your faith increased? Do you want to be healed? How about this…How BAD do you want those things? I know how you can get it, its simple really…Lets ask the maker, Jesus. He is always waiting on the other side of the door, matter of fact he’s right there in the room with you just waiting for you to say “HELP me Lord, I can’t do this on my own, I want to be healed and when you pray…HAVE FAITH KNOWING HE WILL DO JUST THAT!!! I’m sure most of you saw the super bowl last night, I don’t know about you guys but the only team I want to be on is Jesus’ team, and the only way to fail and not win is to not ask him into your heart and to be in control of your life.

The LORD is close to everyone who prays to him, to all who truly pray to him.
Psalm 145:18

Lord, I pray that you would bless every eye reading this, I pray that if there is someone uncertain of where they may end up, they choose you today and forever, I pray that every prayer they ask that it would be heard, that every heart and pain would be healed, that faith would be increased, that marriages would be restored, that relationships would be meaningful and whole and lead by you, I pray that we would lay all our cares, worries, anxieties, stresses at your feet Lord God. You are the master of all things, you are the reason for every breath we take, for every good thing that we have. I thank you Lord for loving us beyond our faults and forgiving us even when we struggle to forgive ourselves. May every eye reading this be blessed beyond imagination and may they find favor with you Lord. I love you and thank you for your son Jesus, and it’s in his name I pray. Amen. Hope you have a wonderful week!!
